The frequency of vacuum
cleaning will depend on the amount of foot traffic and
household soil your carpet is exposed to. Use your vacuum
cleaner as many times as you want since it does not damage
the carpet. On the contrary, it is very advantageous. Most
dirt and dust are usually abrasive due to their sandy particle
content, and they reduce the life of your carpet. No one
like you to know when, where and how often to vacuum. Never
stop vacuumming! The best way to remove embedded dirt is
to vacuum slowly in both directions with a slow lateral
movement. All vacuum cleaners vacuum dirt, but not all
of them “remove it”.
The most recommended ones are vertical vacuums with a beater/brush
bar, propelled by the same motor, such as Hoover’s,
Yelmo’s, Eureka’s, Singer’s, and also called “carpet
sweepers”. If you choose one of them, make sure that
the brushes, and the belt are in good condition. Also, keep
the bag empty. Pay careful attention to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
